Proud over his fictitious virtue,
To what extent is the mind-set true
Convincing himself to the society’s anatomy
It’s nothing but a mere dichotomy
Between the morals and soul
Fighting to get the idea as whole
Opposition is taken to be misleading
Quieting the greatest minds by pleading
“right to expression” they say
Opinion should be taken in righteous way
Believing in the superiority of their virtue
Then why iniquity flows in you
Virtue is nothing but
A farrago of mysticism and dualism
Where the mind works as a prism
Moralities refracted as paradoxes.
We can define will power as a virtue that gives you strength to exert your will or be at a place figuratively you want to be at.
Will power is just like a muscle, which you need to exercise and build it. It is really important to strengthen it as will power is key to success. Will power and mind are really closely related. And if you want to achive success don’t let your mind control you rather control your mind and for the access to the mind you need the key called will power.
The level of in-built willpower varies person to person. It is completely understandable that every person can’t be mentally strong. Sometimes, some circumstances or experiences give you either the strength and willpower to survive or go through anything or completely destroy you and takes away all the strength to deal with anything. When you aren’t able to handle things, this is the time when you need to work on yourself. This is the magical mantra of happy life.
Be the PROTAGONIST of your own life.
Sometimes it is important to manipulate your mind and build enough guts to pursue the things you need to. Just keep telling yourself that you need to do this and don’t quit. It maybe feels hard but it makes things so much easier for future.
Building willpower requires a lot of courage. One should build up enough courage yo handle themselves well cause you won’t have someone or the other to wipe your tears each time because there is no point in gaining sympathy.
If you want something, work for it and earn it.
True beauty comes from inner glow…
This popular saying originates a long time ago. One of the most popular theme among classic authors and poets which we all cherish has a really deep meaning. What may be ugly for you, may be attractive for others and vice versa. Beauty is perception. Perception is point of view. The degree and definition of attractiveness varies not only among different cultures, countries but also person to person. Beauty is not only outer beauty but aldo beauty of mind, heart and soul. The concept of beauty being a perception can be understood by different beauty standards around the world. For example- Korean beauty standards identify a perfect women to be skinny, fair skinned and have large eyes whereas perfect women in Africa are expected to be curvy with big breasts and wide hips.
This quote doesn’t only revolve around physical appearance of the humans but also other beings and things.
Some paintings from famous artists may appear silly or out of nowhere to most of the people but a person paying thousands or even millions for it sees the beauty of the art created, what the artist is trying to convey.
It may seem that another saying, “Don’t Judge a Book By It’s Cover” is a tributary of the given saying. It may be rectifying the wrong meaning taken by the people. The former saying may not only imply for physical beauty but also the inner beauty as it is well said that true beauty comes from inner glow. Whereas, the latter only talks about the physical appearance. It also conveys the idea of not to be judgemental.
Your beauty is not only in the eyes of the other person as a beholder but you as a beholder. Successful people say,” Make Them Look Through Your Eyes”. Similarly, if you don’t see the beauty in yourself, then don’t expect the other person to see it. Self hatred is the most unattractive thing about a person. And, if a person tries to show the beauty in you, don’t become self obsessed but try to accept it with dignity.
As we all know that physical beauty doesn’t last forever, be beautiful at heart, mind and soul.

You are never too old or too young…
A very popular quotation-“Age is just a number”. Everyone has heard about it but they don’t realise the true meaning of it. Aging is based on empirical system of concept of time. Time was in the past, present and even in future. It was there even before humans. Early man didn’t know aging. But he knew time by the tradition of Sun and Moon. Then came the concept of human lifespan.
This all came to my mind when I realised it’s too late to pursue the college of my dreams. Where I wanted to go since childhood. Criticism took over me and I didn’t apply. Only because it wasn’t linked with academics? It’s ok and I don’t regret it. I don’t need a degree to be a designer. And then, this idea struck me. Age can’t define me. I’ll never be too old or yoo young. It’s just an illusion. Many would say aging is a phenomena and not a theory. It’s true. I agree. But what matters is the perception. To look at a thing, there can be only two ways: scientific and natural. I look at age from my mind, heartand soul. My body may tell how old I am but it’s never too old for anything. I am eighteen. Presently, I am too old to start learning ballet and at the same time I am too young to be the president of the country. Isn’t it an illusion? How can I be too young and old at the same time? Does age really matters?
What I want to convey is the idea of not giving up on something just because you think you are too old or young for it. I agree it can’t be applied to each and every case. You can’t drink before legal age. I am not trying to convey that. But to polish and acquiring skills. What matters is your mental age. My face may say I am really young but I know I am mature enough to make sensible decisions. The maturity of your mind has nothing to do with your body aging. Youth can never leave you, if you stay young at heart. Someday, I’ll turn 81 but I’ll never lose my 18 year old mind.
Dreams….are they our inner voice? … imagination? What are they?
Dreams have been basically described as succesion of images, emotions, interpretations occurring in back of our mind during certain stages of sleep. Dreams have been a controversial topic which have been linked to many mythological and religious context. It has been an attraction for acientific research. Nobody is quite sure about why they happen.
We are able to see dreams because of rapid eye movements(REMs). We are wll aware of dreaming, a common thing which we all experience and that is the reason it raises so much curiosity. Don’t you feel that sometimes dreams are just weird. They could be nightmares, prophetic dreams, wet dreams even.
According to some religious context, dreams are a kind of omen. You can interpret it through symbols shown.
For example, I dreamt about bring bitten by dogs again and again and that means being betrayed. But I dont know till what extent it was true. The other time i dreamt of being cinderella. This was weird. It had mwny intepretations. One said that I am being not appreciated to the extent I should be whereas other said that my life will change for better.
Don’t you feel sometimes oh this event has happened before. People term it as prophetic dream. A dream in which you can see future. Dreams are due to sub consciousness. Human brain is powerful and undiscovered.
Daydreaming is another thing. Which basically says you dont need to shut your eyes for dreaming. You can get lost in your own world of imagination. Well its my favourite thing to do in class. Pretty amazing, isn’t it?
Well this is an on going topic but the topic which puts me in total curiosity because my dreams are totally weird linked by nothing.
Is there a difference between being an all rounder and a jack of all trades?
Jack of all trades is a figure of speech used for a person who is good at doing all sorts of work but isn’t master of one. Its usually said “jack of all trades but master of none”.
Is it bad to be good at everything when someone out there is the best at one. Well I guess a person is his own worst critic. People have tendency to convince themselves that someone could be better than him. I can do number of tasks and I’m good at them. So it called being an all rounder or jack of all trades. All rounder sounds as positive as negative hack of all trades sounds.
But if we look in broader sense being a jack of all trades is not also a common trait as being best at a certain thing is. Sometimes, the thing you feel you are really great at may not be felt by other person. Here is the place where ego and criticism meet. Or maybe it’s just confidence.
Being a jack doesn’t make you good for nothing. At least one can do several tasks at average level.
What is right? What is wrong? Is criticism same as right and wrong….
“Critism”- not an unpopular word these days. This word emerged in English during 17th century. The word has been derived from the French word “critique”.Critism is basically judging one’s good and bad points. It can be positive as well as negative. Is critism important? Sometimes, its true and we should learn to accept it. Everyone has a different point of view. What may be right for you may be wrong for the other and vice versa.
One can say right and wrong are just theories. To be more scientific they are “normative theories of ethics“. Accepting criticism can be linked to the theory of right and wrong to a certain level.
Basically, we criticise a person when we think that the person is not doing something according to our ethics or simply our ideology. But at the same time that person is doing something right according to his ideology. Right and wrong are just illusions.
We can understand it better by taking the example of killing. Killing is wrong. But when we kill a mosquito or lion kills a deer its not wrong. But if a human kills a human then its wrong. If a person kills endangered species, its illegal and wrong but if a person kills a chicken its right.
From this we can conclude that right and wrong aren’t part of nature but an ideology or maybe a theory.
A person should listen to other’s point of view but should not blindly follow it. Analyze them but don’t get influenced by them. What makes sense will be kept in mind and rest won’t matter.
Similarly, one should accept criticism to a certain degree. Don’t be demoralized by it. Think over it and use the theory of right and wrong by your ideology.
PS: this article is right according to me but some people won’t agree.
